On-demand water pumps cycle on when you open a faucet and off when pressure builds. Without an accumulator tank, pumps can cycle rapidly — causing noise and wear.
How On-Demand Pumps Work
SEAFLO diaphragm pumps use a built-in pressure switch. When pressure drops below the cut-in point (typically 17 PSI), the pump runs until it reaches 45–60 PSI cut-out.
Why Add an Accumulator Tank?
SEAFLO accumulator tanks store pressurized water in a bladder, reducing pump cycling by 50% or more. Smoother flow at the faucet and longer pump life.
110V vs 12V Systems
Shore power RVs often use 110V/115V AC pumps (33 Series AC). Boats and off-grid campers typically run 12V DC pumps (33, 55 Series).
